Permanent HR Compliance Manager

Your new role
As a permanent HR Compliance Manager, you will Implement, improve and manage compliance and audit activities across the entire HR Shared Service Centre. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance within the HR Shared Service across a range of key areas, ensuring a consistent approach and exceeding industry best practice. You will be working with key stakeholders within the business and will be responsible for implementing practice that align with both legislative compliance and the company guidelines. A key area of this role will be the management of the UKVI SMS system in accordance with Home Office guidance and therefore experience with this system and knowledge of the Right to Work process will be advantageous. In addition you will be a proactive and self-disciplined individual that can work with a variety of senior stakeholder groups across the business, as this is a new role you will be able to use your own initiative to drive improvement across the HRSS, identifying gaps in operational knowledge and supporting teams to up skill and develop in key areas related to compliance.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have experience as an HR Compliance Manager and will need to have experience of right to work processes and the UKVI SMS for sponsored migrant workers, as well as knowledge of legislative and regulatory guidance in relation to industry compliance, particularly in relation to immigration and employment law. You will also be required to have a proven track record of providing feedback on risks, controls and issues identified within a HR environment and making recommendations to resolve in a timely manner.
