Job Title – HR Business Partner

Location – North London (Near Kings Cross) 2-3 days per week with home working 2-3 days per week (may vary from week to week depending on meetings etc.)

Salary – Circa £60-70k + good pension + bonus + health

You will be working with a group of bright and naturally inquisitive colleagues that genuinely love what they do. This opportunity is not a tough sell by any stretch.

You will be helping to shape how HR is delivered in a business where there is a massive amount of buy-in from the top of the business. Oh, and it might also interest you to know that you will have a boss who will trust you to work with the freedom and autonomy to do what you are good at!

What will be keeping you busy?

Partnering at all levels of the organisation (including leadership), you will help the HR Director deliver the HR agenda across global functions. Specifically, you will look after client groups across group centres of excellence in Finance, Legal and HR. You will work closely with key stakeholders and engage the business with new ways of working. This will centre around a generalist range of initiatives across talent management, organisation effectiveness, talent acquisition and employee engagement.

You will be able to spot trends by developing and monitoring key HR metrics and you will use these to support decision making and demonstrate a return on investment. You will be genuinely commercially focused in your approach. To this end, you will always be able to identify the benefits for employees, managers and the business, of any HR initiatives that you are implementing.

As well as having a focus on HR strategy, you will also need to roll your sleeves up and deliver on some operational HR work. This role has a good mix of work to get involved with.

We are looking for someone with well-rounded generalist HR experience with an emphasis on applying commercially-oriented solutions across ER, Reward, Talent & Development and Recruitment (amongst others areas).

You will be able to deliver effective, impactful and engaging communication and will be someone with great interpersonal and influencing skills. You will be able to provide ‘tough love’ whilst maintaining strong and trusting relationships in a business where strong relationships are paramount.

If you can act on your own initiative and work autonomously whilst taking responsibility for decisions, finding practical solutions in tight time-frames then this could be a great job for you.
