A fantastic Head of Talent Acquisition opportunity has arisen at a market disrupting retail business based in Oxford. The organisation grew to 400+ staff over the past 5 years, and with continued ambitious hiring plans, they are looking for someone to lead talent acquisition across the company: Operations, Sales, Technology & Engineering and all Head Office functions, in Oxford, Manchester, & London.

The organisation is building out new customer-facing teams in their recently acquired Manchester office, as well as adding heads to established teams across the business. In the next year, they are striving for huge increases in new business revenues. Therefore, increasing headcount along with planned automation is crucial to achieve these goals.

We are looking for ambitious and hardworking candidates that can work in a fast paced environment, ideally with experience in a tech or start-up environment. People management experience is essential.

Reporting to the Head of People, you will be:

Responsible for:

  • Work with the Head of People to define & deliver the hiring plan against business strategy
  • Manage and motivate a high performing team of talent specialists, currently seven
  • Work collaboratively to define the team's goals and quarterly deliverables; work with the Head of People on quarterly planning and understanding the business' hiring needs for the future
  • Work with the Head of People on senior hiring including using search partners where required
  • Ensure new hires are brought into the business in a timely and cost-effective way
  • Ensure that processes are continually reviewed and improved; that the quality of candidates is continually improved and that hiring processes are fit for purpose
  • Collaborate with Brand on the development of employer brand and ensure they remain an employer of choice
  • Presenting data and recruiting information to senior stakeholders around the company in a factual and engaging way, on an adhoc, monthly, quarterly and adhoc basis
  • Work collaboratively with all leaders in the People team.

Requirements:

  • Experience of managing a successful recruitment team in a fast-paced agile environment; in-house experience essential, ideally from a tech-focused environment
  • Continued exploration of new assessment techniques
  • Budgetary management; management of third party suppliers.
  • Use of Greenhouse ATS useful but not essential.
  • Excellent written, visualisation and verbal communication skills
  • Highly skilled at analysing, interpreting and presenting data
  • Experience of using technology to improve efficiency and streamline recruitment processes
  • Proven success in driving and maintaining a high level of diverse hiring practices
  • Ability to travel to all offices on a monthly basis, and be in Oxford at least 2 days a week
