A 6-12 month interim opportunity for a growing Tech business in Leeds

Responsible for operational HR and growth talent attraction/recruitment

Description


You will take a generalist focus for the whole company working with the SLT to assist in leading HR on a day-to-day basis.

  • Help drive recruitment and talent attraction in order to support the rapid company growth.Support the recruitment process - this may include writing job descriptions and preparing interview questions and application forms etc.
  • Induction of new employees ensuring they feel engaged and a part of the family and culture
  • Analyse and identify areas of improvement including: On-boarding, training, engagement, recruitment, appraisals
  • Manage complex employee relation's casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinary, grievances, absence, retirement and redundancy.
  • Apply HR and business knowledge evidencing appropriate decision making skills.
  • Advise managers on the terms and conditions of employment and knowledge share best practice with them.
  • Develop HR policy and procedures to drive performance and mitigate disputes
  • Help implement learning and development within he business.
  • Conduct regular employee surveys to determine engagement within the workforce.
  • Provide first line advice on current and existing benefits for employees and managers.
  • Administer payroll and payroll records and keep the HR Portal updated of any changes.
  • Continuously monitor and review HR policies and processes and implement changes where necessary.
  • Participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation.
  • Manage the newly recruited HR Administrator

Profile

  • CIPD Qualified Level 5 or 7
  • Is immediately available and can commit to a FTC
  • Have previously operated in a stand alone HR Manager role ideally within the Tech or similar sector
  • Recruitment and Talent attraction
  • A self starter who can work in a fast paced, rapidly growing business supporting the SLT
  • Senior stakeholder relationship management with the ability to advise on HR strategy
  • Excellent employment law, HR legislation practising knowledge
  • French speaking - desirable

  • Salary £45,000 - £60,000k per annum

  • 33 days holiday plus BH
