HR Advisor
Full-time, six month fixed-term contract
Based in Holborn, WC1
£43,434 per annum
We have an opportunity for an experienced senior HR professional to join our committed team and provide a high quality generalist advisory HR service to the CSP employees.
Acting as the lead on all employee relations matters, you will provide up-to-date legal and best practice advice and support to staff and managers on a range of complex issues, including employment law, policy and procedure and job evaluation, and guide managers through the appropriate HR processes. You will also supervise the HR Administrator in all aspects of routine HR processes from recruitment to payroll, and support them on more complex staff queries.
Educated to degree level, or with equivalent experience, you will ideally have a CIPD post graduate qualification, or be working towards this. Significant HR experience in a small/medium sized organisation is essential, along with a proven ability to deal with a full range of HR procedures and initiatives. As your workload will often be fluctuating and demanding, excellent organisational skills are required, alongside the initiative to prioritise effectively. A commitment to, and understanding of, equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in the workplace is also of the upmost importance. You will have the initiative to suggest where people-related procedures can be improved, whether in relation to EDI, staff experience or team efficiency.
The CSP is the trade union and educational, professional organisation for the UK’s 59,000 chartered physiotherapists, support workers and students; and one of the largest representative bodies in healthcare.

Our shared values are part of our organisational DNA and reflect the expectations we have of ourselves and others. They guide what we do and how we do it to have the greatest impact for our members.
