A innovative and modern engineering organisation is looking to recruit a new role to cover a region. Main site based on the South Yorkshire / North Nottinghamshire / Lincolnshire border.
Your new role
Reporting to the HR Director at the head office, your role will be that of a true HR Business Partner to the Senior Leaders of a region and its 2 sites
You will be responsible for delivering the organisation's People Agenda by providing innovative, fit for purpose solutions. The role will be the conduit to influence and support change in the business and partner with the operational and functional teams, whilst reporting into the Group HR Director in the UK and the wider HR team.
Aswell as the day-to-day operational and generalist HR management of the region/sites - you will work on projects and strategy round talent management, employee engagement, well-being etc
This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor to move into the Business Partner space - or for a current HR Business Partner/Manager who enjoys the autonomy of looking after a business unit in a stand alone capacity. What you'll need to succeed
You will have a solid background in the engineering/manufacturing or similar industry - both operational and some strategic/project work of Human Resources. Be used to advising and working with a Senior Management Team.
Have excellent IT/reporting, communication and leadership skills.
Ideally degree qualified but with a minimum of Level 5 CIPD.
What you'll get in return
Flexible working options available - 1 to 2 days from home. 2 to 3 on site (South Yorkshire / North Nottinghamshire / Lincolnshire border) and one day a week travel to the other site (in the north)
