Your new role
You will be the interface between our the business units and the HR team. You will have responsibility for ensuring the right workforce plan are on in place to deliver the contract, including identifying workforce risks and proposing solutions. Using your understanding of your remit area (including its operating model, contractual framework, priorities and challenges), you will successfully champion and embed the people strategy, operating model and policy framework. As a member of the leadership team, you will partner with the senior team and contribute to the development and delivery of a range of strategic and operational people interventions which are aligned to the local priorities and broader people and corporate strategies. Through in-depth knowledge of the business, its priorities and the external market, you will provide high quality, commercial and solution-focused advice and coaching on people matters to your local leadership teams and senior leaders across a broad range of people-related operation matters (in line with the People Operating Model). You will act as an ambassador for the people team and role model the organisation's values and leadership behaviours.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally CIPD qualified (or working towards), or the ability to demonstrate comparable * Ideally prior experience of working in healthcare (private or public) * Prior experience of supporting a workforce employed on a variety of
knowledge and professional standards * Good working knowledge of employment law * Up to date with current and emerging HR best practice * Experience of coaching and influencing senior leaders * Strong generalist HR knowledge * Credible, persuasive and able to quickly build effective working relationships, engaging and influencing at a senior stakeholder level. * Have independence and the confidence to challenge positively * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Good business acumen and commerciality * High levels of personal resilience and calm under pressure * Analytical: able to interrogate data and identify trends and insight * Pragmatic and outcome focused approach * Full, clean driving licence
