This business is definitely a bit special…

Our client is all about creative flair that’s the enemy of ordinary. Unmatched quality. Incredible service. That’s what they do best. You’ll love their passionate and unique approach. And it’ll be those things that keeps customers coming back demanding more, more, more.

We don’t want to say who they are at this stage as this will ruin the surprise but they are a major global business with a great reputation. Industry experience is not important with this role. Knowledge and passion are.

What can we tell you about this fantastic role?

Our client has big ambitions for their Talent agenda and this role is critical for them to realise their strategic plans. This role is about delivering an amazing experience for their people right across the talent cycle within global functions. They have a clear plan and will be looking to you to deliver it. The design work has been done but your input will still be valued.

As we return to some semblance of normality they’re looking for game changing and engaged talent in all areas of the business and this role is crucial at helping ensure that they are delivering against the talent requirements. The focus here is on performance, succession and career planning, organisation design, high potential programmes and other talent management initiatives. For avoidance of doubt, this is not a Talent Acquisition/Recruitment role.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for talent, leadership and learning who is keen to drive change within an exciting and growing organisation so if you want to be part of a truly exciting talent agenda then this could be the right opportunity for you.

What will be keeping you busy?

As a key member of a close-knit HR for a major global business, you’ll first class talent management experience, thinking and practice to help challenge and influence the business. You’ll work with the HR Business Partners and senior leadership teams with the talent review process, providing insight and analysis, making sure the business continues to have some of the most motivated and magnificent talent in the industry.

You’ll have a big focus on shaping the management structure and agenda. You’ll also be responsible for everything from supporting with talent consultancy, to building processes and embedding fresh ways of assessing and developing talent.

Working closely with the HR Director of group functions to deliver the overall strategy, you will have accountability for Talent Management, Succession Planning & Career Development, Performance and Leadership & Management Development.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone who has built a depth of experience in the Talent and OD space. You may have held a generalist HR role with a focus on talent management. You’ll have a real passion for Talent and Development, drawing on experiences gained in strong brands with best in class delivery of talent and leadership strategies.

You’ll also have creative flair to help foster a positive culture. You’ll work well in a fast paced environment, managing multiple challenges and taking them all in your stride. You’ll be organised and demonstrate strong planning and project management skills with an affinity for data that will help you influence and measure your impact.

You’ll push the boundaries to deliver the right outcome for the business and manage stakeholder expectations as part of the course. And, thanks to your excellent presentation skills, you’ll be able to get your point across to the most senior people in our business. It’s an incredibly varied role, so be prepared to operate with ambiguity.

Company

Fetch Recruitment was set up by Yasmin Elezaj and Tommy Gale in 2017.  After years of working in and managing successful recruitment businesses, they decided to go into business together and have created an expert team.

Both with young families and very similar values in and out of work, they realised that they could offer excellent service to clients that were looking for a different approach to recruitment.

As such, Fetch is a very family oriented business.  We believe that if our recruiters have a good work-life balance, this will reflect in the service that they deliver for clients. This plays out in the quality of service that we provide.

Our team are not chained to their desks with their phone times being monitored. They are trusted to do what they are good at and because of this they go over and above. They all work from home and this means that we have good coverage across the UK as our team are spread out.

We created a commercial proposition that allows us to offer a far superior level of service to clients for much lower fees than our competitors. Everything that we do is about providing exceptional value and we think that we do this really well.
