A family-run, first-in-class manufacturer in East Suffolk are looking for a driven People Manager to lead the People & Culture function. Your new role
The People Manager will report directly to the Managing Director and will work closely with line managers coaching and supporting them to achieve high performing teams. Part of the core management team, you will think creatively and offer ideas to attract and retain the best talent. Ensuring all applicants have a positive experience and receive feedback. You will also lead on complex ER cases and oversee all case work with the People Advisor. You can expect the role to be very fast-paced with multiple priorities day-to-day. There will also be an opportunity to be involved in/lead on some exciting change projects. You will regularly use Microsoft packages, including Excel to produce reports and manipulate data.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced, CIPD qualified HR generalist. An inspirational leader, you will enjoy identifying the best candidate attraction strategies and driving employee engagement. Practical experience applying employment law into a fast-paced workplace is essential, as is the ability to work at speed and accuracy, and under pressure to deadlines. You will be proactive, driven and have an excellent standard of written and verbal communication skills. You will also be known for your problem-solving skills, ability to influence and strong emotional intelligence.
