This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced commercial business where no two days are ever the same. Working as part of the operating board and reporting directly to the CEO you will provide full-service support across all aspects of the employee life-cycle. A true HR generalist, you will have ownership of the HR strategy and resultant people plans but equally, need to be really comfortable picking up whatever comes your way whether big or small.
This is a truly people-centric business where relationships are everything, whether from a customer or colleague perspective. As the Head of HR, your role is to support operational excellence through targeted people management strategies, never losing sight of our client's core values and the importance placed on colleague experience and employer/employee brand.
As Interim Head of HR, the next 12 months will see the role focusing on multiple OD-related projects focusing on areas such as Engagement, Mental Health & Well-being, ED&I, Dynamic working, Reward & Benefits, Talent & Development while maintaining responsibility for all of the day-to-day BAU. The role also has responsibility for oversight of the accurate and timely completion of payroll and management of an HR Administrator requiring ongoing support and development. As Head of HR, you have ownership of all Compliance-related matters, including but not limited to; FCA Conduct rules, Senior Manager Regime, and adherence to GDPR regulations and associated risk management.
We cannot stress enough that while this is a true Interim Head of HR role, the role requires an HR professional who is absolutely comfortable picking up whatever comes their way. This role would suit someone who's worked in a stand-alone role, whether in an SME or Business start-up.
It is worth mentioning that we are not necessarily seeking candidates from the Business Sales sector and welcome applicants from very commercial and indeed highly regulated environments such as Financial Services, etc.
12 month FTC covering maternity leave.
Salary on offer 40,000 - 50,000
To start late June or early July.
