Job Details
The HR Manager will be responsible for the HR function and team to ensure the HR service is being delivered effectively and efficiently.

Description
- Managing a HR team of six including HR Advisors and HR Administrators
- Maintaining the People Strategy of the business
- Managing the recruitment function for several sites
- Maintaining and improving the HR systems and practices
- Supporting the HR team with disciplinaries, grievances, appeals
- Producing employment documentation such as offer letters
- Carrying out exit interviews and pre-employment checks
- Build relationships with external community resources including union representatives and recruitment agencies where required
- Reviewing succession planning and team performance
- Creating weekly reports for recruitment and staff turnover
- Coaching managers and providing regular feedback to help with continuous improvements
Profile
- Must have own vehicle and full driver's license
- Experience managing a HR team
- CIPD qualification
- Previous experience in a HR Manager role
- Distribution / Logistics / Supply Chain / Manufacturing background is advantageous
- Experience working in an E-Commerce Business / Environment is preferable
- Working knowledge of HR best practices and employment legislation
- Organised with excellent planning skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
