The HR Manager will be responsible for the HR function and team to ensure the HR service is being delivered effectively and efficiently.

  • Managing a HR team of six including HR Advisors and HR Administrators
  • Maintaining the People Strategy of the business
  • Managing the recruitment function for several sites
  • Maintaining and improving the HR systems and practices
  • Supporting the HR team with disciplinaries, grievances, appeals
  • Producing employment documentation such as offer letters
  • Carrying out exit interviews and pre-employment checks
  • Build relationships with external community resources including union representatives and recruitment agencies where required
  • Reviewing succession planning and team performance
  • Creating weekly reports for recruitment and staff turnover
  • Coaching managers and providing regular feedback to help with continuous improvements


  • Must have own vehicle and full driver's license
  • Experience managing a HR team
  • CIPD qualification
  • Previous experience in a HR Manager role
  • Distribution / Logistics / Supply Chain / Manufacturing background is advantageous
  • Experience working in an E-Commerce Business / Environment is preferable
  • Working knowledge of HR best practices and employment legislation
  • Organised with excellent planning skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
