Join this innovative social organisation as a Senior HR Adviser (known internally as HR Officer) and use your knowledge and initiative to create a fantastic employee experience, support our managers to be the best they can, and help deliver an ambitious programme of organisational change.
Raven has a clear social purpose: building homes and changing lives. We aim to be an outstanding provider of homes within Surrey and Sussex, a cornerstone of the community and an innovative employer.
As HR Business Partner for 3 of our directorates, you’ll support the Senior HR Business Partner and L&D Manager in improving and developing employee experience across the organisation. Providing an effective, professional HR service to managers at all levels, you’ll be working closely with a range of colleagues to deliver the people strategy and ensure the achievement of strategic goals. We are HR change agents in Raven; constantly seeking out the new and exciting and seeing how we can use it to make the employee experience even better.
We need a self-sufficient, resilient generalist with CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience, who really understands the importance of employee experience and the need to provide an excellent service to internal customers and wider stakeholders. Adept at managing large workloads and changing priorities, you will be able to use your own initiative and ideally, you will have some Housing experience.
With a strong operational grasp spanning recruitment, employee relations, reporting, absence management, performance management, reward & recognition etc., and ideally with previous exposure to organisational transformation, be that digital or cultural, you are comfortable with ambiguity and change. You will be skilled at constructive challenge and creative thinking; a genuine team player who will support others’ development; and will thrive in a changing and dynamic environment.
You will also share our values: earning trust by being open and accountable, listening with an open mind, working collaboratively, and caring about making things better.
We support and trust our staff to work as a team and be their best. We offer competitive salaries and benefits, a great pension scheme, flexible working options, plus support for further training to develop your skills and career.
Applicants must be available to start with us from 21st June.
To apply, please visit our website.
Closing date: 16th May 2021
Interview dates: Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th May
