We are delighted to be recruiting for a Manufacturing business in Grimsby who are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join their existing HR team. Salary will be dependant on experience, c£30-35k.
Supporting a headcount of approx 700, you will work alongside a HR Business Partner and a wider HR team and be a point of contact across the business at this site. It's a busy and fast moving environment! So we seek a candidate who will have strong influencing skills and communication skills and be highly credible with senior operational stakeholders.
·The HR Advisor will support the HR BP in day to day operations, as they focus on key HR projects
·Lower level administrative support in HR Correspondences, employee data and systems management
·Advice & Guidance on process, policies, and complex ER cases
·Recruitment & On boarding
·Union relationships and negotiations
·Mentoring and supporting a junior team member
Team fit is key for this role so you must be a really hard worker and team player who is happy to roll their sleeves up and work towards creating a positive working environment. You will have exposure to a blue collar or similar environment, understanding the culture of the workforce and bringing with you a high level of resilience! This environment can offer challenging situations, which makes it interesting, and you can be part of a really supportive and friendly team.
To be considered you will be an experienced HR Advisor, with high levels of ER experience, you will come from a blue collar background and ideally you will have worked within a unionised site, although this isn't essential. If this sounds like you do apply now!!
