Page Personnel HR are working with a client in Carlisle to recruit an HR Consultant on a permanent basis. The role requires generalist HR knowledge of restructure, redundancy, disciplinary, grievance and capability matters. Flexible working considered.
Our client are a legal firm who operate on a national scale. They are recruiting an HR Consultant to join a client-facing HR and Employment Team. The role requires generalist experience across the core areas of HR. The role has come about due to growth and it is an exciting time to be joining the business. Their offices are based in Carlisle and they are adopting a flexible working model with a minimum 2 days a week in the office.
The key responsibilities for the HR Consultant are providing support and advice to a diverse client base, handle a wide range of HR matters, developing strategies and design plans to implement various process and procedure, advising on restructure, redundancies, disciplinary, grievance and capability matters, conducting investigations and drafting and revieiwing employment documentation. Occasional travel required to client visits. The role is based in Carlisle and offers flexible working.
The successful candidate will have a proactive 'can-do' attitude, with a real focus on ensuring they provide our clients with professional, approachable and solutions focused HR Service. The ability to work as part of a team is therefore essential together with excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.
