An experienced HR Advisor to join a heavily-regulated financial services business in Portsmouth.

Your new company

My client are a market leader in their field and offer financial services to a large customer base. The business are audited and regulated by the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority).

Your new role

As HR Advisor, you will report to the HR Director with support from a part-time HR Advisor too.

Purpose of the role:
- Responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of the HR Processes in a legally compliant manner.
- Delivery of first-class HR / Payroll solutions to the service users utilising the internal and external processes and systems provided by the Company.
-To act as a trusted advisor, supporting the business and its Directors in achieving its ongoing objectives through delivery of the human resource plan and communications strategy.

This role is office-based, Monday-Friday (9am-5.30pm, 37.5/week).

You may be required to travel to a couple of London-based locations (once every 2-3 months), so a UK Driving Licence is a must.

What you'll need to succeed

This is a true HR generalist role that will include HR Administration, supporting payroll, recruitment and on-boarding, ER case work, partnering with Managers and working on projects / HRIS systems (People HR).

My client are looking for a resilient, experienced HR Advisor who has worked in a busy, changing environment. You must be CIPD Level 7 qualified / MSc in HR or CIPD Level 5 qualified with 3 years+ experience in a HR role/s.

It will be an advantage to have worked in a highly regulated environment - preferably in financial services (insurance / banking etc), legal, healthcare or manufacturing sectors.
