Page Personnel HR are working with a public sector organisation with offices in Manchester. They are recruiting for a Recruitment Advisor to join and support an established team. The purpose of the role is to offer advice to hiring managers on best practice approaches for recruitment campaigns, ensuring that both managers and candidates experience an excellent recruitment process. The role will also involve line management of a Recruitment Assistant.

Client Details

Our client are a public sector organisation that offer guidance, advice and information to health and social care professionals. Due to a busy period of growth, they are hiring a Recruitment Advisor to join an established team on a minimum 6 month temporary basis. The role will involve line management of an Assistant and work closely with a Recruitment Manager to deliver a high standard of service to both Hiring Managers and candidates.
Their offices are based in Manchester.

Description

The key responsibilities for the Recruitment Advisor are supporting the recruitment assistant with their role and development, providing administrative cover during holidays or high volume recruitment processes, building relationships with hiring managers, initial consultations to create vacancy briefs and agree timescales, sourcing and nurturing a pipeline of candidates, use a variety of channels to source candidates, developing a social media presence, adhering to recruitment policy and best practice, producing reports, assisting in the implementation of applicant tracking systems. The role is based in Manchester.

Profile

The successful candidate will have/be:

  • qualified by experience within a similar role
  • qualified within a relevant degree or HR (desired not essential)
  • knowledge of end-to-end recruitment cycle
  • knowledge or applicant tracking systems
  • ability to build strong relationships
  • excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • computer literacy on MS Office and in-house systems
  • ability to produce reports
  • meticulous attention to detail

Job Offer

Our client offers a salary c£25K, minimum period of 6 months temporary contract, good benefits, accessible by all public transports
