Page Personnel HR are working on a temporary part-time HR Assistant opportunity for a charity based in Manchester City Centre. The role is due to growth and is initially for a minimum period of 2 months with the potential for an extended contract or permanent opportunity. 2/3 days a week with flexible working.
The role would suit someone with basic knowledge of HR or recruitment processes. CIPD graduates with minimum experience should also apply!
Our client are a charity organisation in Manchester City Centre who support and provide services to LGBT communities. They are seeking additional support within HR due to growth. They are recruiting for a part-time HR Assistant, initially on a temporary basis, for a minimum 2 month period. 2/3 days a week with flexible working.
The key responsibilities for the HR Assistant are facilitating the recruitment process, posting job adverts, arranging interviews, sending reference requests, liaising with line managers for administrative tasks, chasing return to work forms, coordinating staff sickness and absence, supporting the learning and development of staff, working closely with the HR Manager with other ad-hoc tasks. The role is based in Manchester and offers flexible working. Part-time hours at 2/3 days per week.
The successful candidate will have/be:
- previous experience within a HR/recruitment role
- computer literacy with HR systems and Microsoft Office
- CIPD qualification desired but not essential
- meticulous attention to detail
- excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- excellent interpersonal skills
- an understanding of LGBT communities and issues faced by them
Our client offers an hourly rate based off £18.5-20K pro rata, 2/3 days a week, flexible working, IT equipment provided
