Description

As HR Business Partner you will:

  • Ensure the business is compliant with current UK employment legislation thus avoiding damaging internal and external relationships
  • Underpin the business and its employees during change programmes thus maintaining positive employee relations and successful implementation of change
  • Ensure HR is integrated with the local management teams to make a valued contribution to the company in a multi-cultural environment
  • Be first point of contact for a range of HR issues in the agreed areas to ensure consistency of approach
  • Ensure the role is carried out with a strong commercial awareness whilst also adopting current HR thinking and practices to the needs of the business
  • Effectively handle day-to-day HR issues such as absence management, discipline & grievance, recruitment, succession planning, people development, training needs understanding etc.
  • Be the lead on Wellbeing for the UK , promoting and implementing services, engaging with managers and workforce.

Profile

You will have:

* Experience of operating in a large industrial organisation
* Experience of operating within an industrial environment
* Persuasive, strong influencing skills and possess the confidence to question and challenge managers
* Bottom line approach to HR
* Ability to work in a dynamic and ever changing organisation
* Ability to work at all level of the organisation from Senior Management to Operatives
* CIPD Level 7 or working towards it.
