HR Advisor/ Junior HR Manager Job
Oakleaf are working with a fantastic growing business who are looking for a strong HR advisor/ Junior HR Manager to come in and act the main point of contact for a business currently close to 200 employees.
This is a stand-alone HR role but will have some Admin support. They want you to be a full generalist getting involved with anything from ER to performance management. If you are looking to for a role with autonomy and the chance to shape a company's HR, then this is the Job for you!
To be a successful for this HR Advisor/ Junior HR Manager Job you will need:
- Strong administration skills
- 3 + years experience in an HR environment
- Personable with strong communication and relationship building capabilities across all levels of the business
- Driven and determined
- Practical and logical; able to solve problems quickly
- A high level of confidentiality
- Excellent interpersonal and people-facing skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- The flexibility and willingness to learn
- To enjoy working with people
- Tact and diplomacy
- Good administrative skills
Key Responsibilities
- Dealing with various HR queries throughout the business
- Monitoring, reviewing and updating all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with the current legislation
- Informing employees of their rights and entitlements and keeping them up to date on any changes that are made
- Managing staff relationships, responding to any queries or problems that they have and managing their expectations
- Handling HR matters reliably and in accordance with legal requirements
- Supporting the HR manager with various capability investigations, including grievance and disciplinary
- Assisting with and developing on any recruitment campaigns
- Driving the business performance in relation to the organisation's objectives
- Partnering with line managers to review employee relations, performance management, resourcing and staff management
- Update internal databases (e.g. record sickness, holidays adjustment, other leaves, etc)
- Revise company policies
- Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates)
- Participate in HR project
