Job Details
Our high-achieving and fast pace financial services client are looking for an HR Advisor to join their collaborative team on a 13 month fixed term basis. This role will provide a vital support to the business and will take ownership of the graduate programme as well as wider HR Generalist tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ongoing recruitment of Graduates, Summer Interns and junior staff across Investment Banking and the wider business where appropriate.
- Ownership of the construction and management of the graduate programme, with a focus on using direct approaches where possible.
- Providing general assistance to the Head of Human Resources for Europe on HR related projects
- Advising and engaging staff on HR policies and procedures.
- Drafting job descriptions with line managers, arranging interviews, coordinating feedback for candidates
- Assisting with the induction process for new employees. Including ensuring new joiner paperwork is complete, background checking, relevant departments notified.
- Liaising with employees and supporting the benefits/ payroll manager to ensure high standards of service.
- Monitoring probationary periods and liaising with Senior Management on progress
- Human Resources administration including personnel, electronic filing and tracking.
- Managing and maintaining monthly payroll schedules to support the team.
- Conducting training needs analysis and supporting employees with development opportunities
Key Skills:
- Graduate experience management within a Financial Services environment is essential
- HR Generalist exposure to the full employee lifecycle
- Excellent stakeholder management building strong internal and external relationships.
- Self motivated with the ability to work independently prioritising tasks and responding to deadlines.
- A collaborative and supportive team approach to reach team targets. and a collaborative team member to create and share your team's vision on an ongoing basis
- CIPD qualified would be beneficial
