About the role 

We’re looking for an experienced Digital Learning Manager to join us and take responsibility for delivering the Operations Learning Academy digital learning strategy across our entire Packaging division, supporting the delivery of operational excellence.  In this role you will work closely with Regional Leadership teams, Packaging Academies, Group L&D, IT and operations SMEs to deliver end to end digital systems, tools and learning solutions, enabling the building of capability across the division.

You will be working as part of a new team and as the digital learning lead, you will be engaging with Packaging sites around the world to develop and implement exciting and innovative learning tools and systems to drive consistency and effectiveness in building operational capability and performance.

You will enable technical and operations capability building and continuous improvement through driving consistency in approach and outcomes of people development.  You will provide Train the Trainer support to local trainers and SMEs and refresh their skills/knowledge to build capability in line with 70-20-10 principles. 

This role can be based anywhere in the UK, but ideally close to an airport as regular travel is involved.

 

About you  

  • Significant experience in a similar role, ideally in a global, complex business
  • Manufacturing/FMCG/Engineering knowledge and experience
  • A strong track record of developing and delivering digital learning strategies using a consultative approach and innovative solutions
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of delivering global L&D strategies to build operational capability
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues on all levels, and culturally aware to influence and drive change internationally
  • A well organised, strategic thinker who can be hands on as required
  • A relevant qualification would be advantageous
