Work with the Management in Human Resources Department to plan and implement learning and development initiatives to support the client's various corporate and business groups in support of their business objectives.

This is a 360 degree role with no direct reports, so candidates must be comfortable, and have demonstrable experience of designing, developing and delivering Learning & Development initiatives.

Description

A Learning & Development Specialist to:

  • Contribute to the design of learning solutions, training curriculum and leadership development
  • Contribute to planning and managing workforce development and work with the Human Resources Department to execute talent management strategies, working on design, plan and manage of organisational analytics
  • Contribute to the development of a framework of competencies and behaviours matrix covering a broad range of roles, liaising with line management to understand training requirements
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of an organisation-wide training needs matrix to include a structured learning and development framework to improve the development of people
  • Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of employee development plans and programmes to support organisational needs in a combination of disciplines such as management, development, talent management, succession planning, technical or non-technical training and e-learning; and
  • Contribute to the development and co-ordination of a system to monitor and measure learning and development activity and outcomes to demonstrate value-add and Return on Investment

Profile

A Learning & Development Specialist with:

  • Degree level or equivalent qualification in a professionally recognised training accreditation is desirable
  • CIPD Qualified at full or Associate member level
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to contribute to translating business objectives into talent initiatives
  • Able to demonstrate practical application of organisational development tools and concepts
  • Confident to influence others to achieve a desired outcome
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Confident, highly organised and able to demonstrate using their initiative
  • Effective presenter and facilitator of training
  • Able to contribute to designing and delivering training
  • Demonstrate accuracy, attention to detail and be able to manage project time-lines and/or deadlines
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Flexible, adaptable, creative and realistic
  • Team-player
  • Must be proficient in the use of MS Office packages
  • Able to travel

Desirable:

  • Advantageous to have experience within a multicultural, multi-country business environment
  • Experience in using SAP Success-Factors Learning Management System (LMS) and Skillsoft preferred;
