Ashley Kate are partnering with a leading Manufacturing organisation who are looking for a HR Officer to join them in their Banbury site on a permanent basis.
The salary is £25k.
The client are experiencing huge growth and need additional generalist support to manage the day to day.
You will be the initial point of contact for general HR queries and concerns and will provide HR advice and support to managers and teams across the site. You will also lead engagement and communications initiatives onsite, support the HR Business Partner with delivering the Learning & Development strategy, manage absence levels and support with onboarding and recruitment where required.
What you will be doing:
●Act as first point of contact for HR queries across Operations
●Act as an escalation point for employee absences and ensure absence and holiday is managed in line with our policies.
●Own absence reporting for onsite colleagues and lead initiatives to address any trends which may appear
●Work on continuous process improvements
●Support recruitment activity on site where needed, and deliver HR Inductions for new starters.
●Support hiring managers with IT/equipment set up for new starters
●Advise managers on formal processes and provide HR support throughout
●Own or assist HR Lead on ad-hoc projects
●Partner with managers to provide advice and training on policies/processes
●Support with culture initiatives onsite
●Lead onsite communications and engagement initiatives
●Support delivery of Staff Council and Employee Voice initiatives
●Support implementation of actions from Happiness surveys
●Support delivery of L&D strategy across the site
Who you are:
oExperience with HRIS systems
oPrevious HR generalist experience
oExperience reporting on and managing volume absence
oExperience of Employee Relations processes and best practice
oGoogle Suite experience
oIdeally some previous recruitment involvement/experience
oIdeally experience in a fast-paced, production environment
