HR Generalist (Paris based)

£32,000 - £40,000 (€37,000 - €45,000)

We have partnered with a world-renowned Trading firm in their search for a HR Generalist to join their Paris office & assist the Head of HR with the employee lifecycle process for their European population. This role will work operational levels with front & back-office client groups.


  • Manage and track the hiring process. This may involve liaison with front office and back office client groups, MID Team, SMD, Legal, HRBA/HRBP
  • Manage the on-boarding of new starters; initiate background checks escalating areas of concern on receipt of the referencing report to managers, Compliance and HR Business Partners. Liaise with Compliance regarding FCA registration
  • Assist with global mobility and cross border moves - arranging relocation from home to host country with consideration of immigration and tax issues, preparing secondment and international transfer letters. Ensuring employees have necessary work permit and visas as appropriate, liaising with external lawyers in the application process
  • Draft and process documentation relating to other contractual changes e.g. job title changes, transfers, salary increase
  • Manage and track maternity and flexible working processes with the oversight of the relevant HR Business Partner; including meeting employees and maintaining paperwork/files
  • Manage monthly Payroll process to ensure relevant instructions are passed to Payroll before the monthly deadline
  • Support on HR projects


  • Both written and spoken French language is essential for this role
