Your new company

I am currently supporting a Public Sector organisation based in Wood Green, North London as they are looking to hire a HR Advisor to join their Human Resources Advisory team on an Interim basis. There are 2 posts available one 12 months maternity cover and 6 months contract with a potential to be extended/ go permanent.

Your new role

You will provide a professional, high quality and customer focused employee relations advisory service for the Organisation, fully reflecting the equal opportunity policies. Proactively influence and support services to improve employee relations. Support the development of managers in people management through coaching and HR training as appropriate. Contribute to HR policies and practice.

What you'll need to succeed

You should be available to start immediately or on 1-2 week notice

  • At least 3 years' experience of working as a HR Advisor specialising in Employee Relations and Casework and knowledge and the understanding of current employment legislation
  • Be able to demonstrate experience of working with customers on delivering solutions on both sensitive and complex employee relations issues, including absence management, performance, grievance, transformation and organisational change
  • Demonstrable TUPE insourcing/outsourcing experience
  • Considerable experience of working in Local Government or wider Public Sector type organisations
