We are delighted to work exclusively with a highly innovative, commercial and fast paced Technology and Software business looking to hire a Head of HR. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading brand within its field that will offer you the opportunity to work within an agile and progressive culture.

The role

Reporting into the Chief People Officer you will effectively Business Partner the COO and Senior Leadership team, leading on key change and transformation projects and programmes. Managing a team of HR Business Partners across the UK, Ireland and India, supporting a headcount of c.750, you will be responsible for driving the HR strategy to ensure high standards of strategic and transactional HR service delivery, working closely with L&D, Talent Acquisition, Reward and Shared Services.

This client group operates a client facing MSP which is built on pace, quality and operational excellence. They are currently looking to evolve the way they work in order to improve efficiencies and effectiveness and you will be responsible for partnering with the Senior Leadership Team to make informed HR recommendations and improvements. You will strategically Business Partner the COO, working at pace to translate commercial objectives into tangible people plans and projects, championing the transformation and change agenda. Key projects include programmes around organisational design, target operating models and structures, performance and succession planning, leadership development and operational efficiencies.

What you need to succeed

The successful candidate has or will be working in an extremely demanding commercial environment, Partnering with an Executive Team and Senior Leaders. You will have significant experience of organisation design, transformation and change gained within an organisation offering IT/technology, outsourcing, offshoring or MSP services.

Alongside your Business Partnering experience you will be expected to work operationally and actively involve yourself in day2day activities. As you will manage Business Partners across the UK, Ireland and India, previous experience managing a large and/or International team would be advantageous. You will possess excellent senior stakeholder management experience and be comfortable both supporting and challenging the thinking of a demanding client group. Travel to sites in the East and West Midlands will be required weekly along with travel to India once a quarter but there is flexibility to work for home 2-3 days per week.
