Oakleaf are working with a large, growing global engineering consultancy to hire a campus recruiter for 6 months- additional capacity in the team! The team are responsible for managing the attraction and recruitment of entry level talent for the Operations, Finance, Consultancy and Technology Business Units.

The role will report into Head of Early Years Recruitment, and provide a comprehensive graduate attraction and recruiting service to support the effective recruitment of Apprentices and Full Time Graduate Programs in across 4 different verticles.

You will:

  • Assist in the execution a successful and comprehensive attraction and recruiting strategy for the UK 2021 Early Careers program
  • Maintain and establish relationships with target campus professionals, careers services, faculty staff, campus organisations, societies and ambassadors
  • Identify, agree, plan, book and execute Firmwide and/or Divisional events for all programmes
  • Ensure adequate and appropriate representation at attraction events and attend these sessions to represent the Business
  • Effectively collaborate with the University Teams to manage referrals
  • Produce and track attraction, event and programme budgets
  • Undertake and manage the screening and selection process
  • Oversee the involvement of line representatives in the recruiting process
  • Oversee the delivery of first round interviews and assessment centres and closely monitor hiring decisions
  • Attend and host interview and assessment centre days and facilitate wash up and hiring decision roundtable discussions
  • Manage the Summer apprentice process and end of programme hiring decisions (conversions to Graduate Offers)

They are looking for:

  • A proven background within graduate or high volume recruitment,
  • Understanding and awareness of the graduate recruitment landscape is highly desirable
  • Strong diplomacy, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, to perform effectively and efficiently under pressure and to adapt to change
  • Demonstrated client service focus and credibility with senior management
  • High-level of initiative, results focus and self-motivated
  • Strong analytical, reporting and MS Office skills
