HR Workforce Operations Manager

Were seeking an experienced HR, Workforce Operations Manager / Head of HR to oversee an NHS Vaccination sites


We have a unique opportunity to play your part in the COVID19 response. We are seeking a experienced HR Leader/ Head of HR/Deputy Head of HR / Senior HR Operations Manager who is well versed in all areas of HR, resourcing and people management practice to be a Workforce lead for a Vaccination Programme with sites across Hampshire.

Reporting to a Director and with 4 Operations Managers you will be providing a comprehensive HR / Workforce / Business Partnering guidance and support in the operational delivery of the Covid19 vaccination sites. These sites are currently staffed via a wide variety of temporary methods including secondment, bank staff, external organisation and temporary resourcing. Each site has over 40 staff engaged for each shift pattern and upto 700 people signed up / recruited for flexible resource shifts.

You will be a key HR leader for the operational team, horizon scanning and reacting to changes to vaccination programmes (eg age cohorts) which will effect the resourcing demands and engagement of the temporary workforce across the vaccination sites. You will need to develop innovative approaches to recruit, maintain and engage the temporary workforce and maintaining standards and performance of the teams & sites.
A key element of the role over the coming 6 months will be moving the vaccination sites through the next phase of COVID19 vaccination programmes including demobilisation and flexing the workforce to meet the challenges/demands of vaccination eg - Boosters / under 30s /under 18s / new variant / hot spot community response.

Candidates
We are seeking experienced Senior HR Leaders, Head of HR/HRD / Site HR Leaders who would have a well rounded background of HR, workforce, resourcing and operations.
You will ideally have experiences of working within the public sectors and a solid background of working with a temporary/contract work force and the challenges of running sites..

This is initially a 6 months Fixed term contract
Mix of working from Home / visiting 5 sites in Hampshire when needed for presence
