Your new company
You will be joining a unique organisation at a crucial part of their growth journey. The organisation are in the early stages of planning a huge scale project which will significantly impact what their organisation chart looks like over the upcoming years.

To support the expansion, this newly created division of the organisation have identified the need for someone to oversee their workforce capability, planning for growth, scale-up/scale downs and developing skills and capabilities of the workforce to meet the demands over the upcoming years.

Your new role
You will work broadly across the organisation to understand the needs of each crucial stage of the project, understanding what skills will be required and when, the volumes and any factors that could change this information. Reporting to the the Director of Transformation, you will be accountable for ensuring the workforce is fit for purpose at each crucial milestone of the project. From identifying skills gaps, designing development programmes, succession planning and early careers involvement, this will be an incredibly varied role where the environment and needs of the organisation will change a lot.

What you'll need to succeed
Above any of the technical skills required for this role, is the importance of the right soft skills. Whilst the organisation would like someone with new ideas and the ability to think outside of the box, its important to note due to the regulated environments, there are processes to follow before you would be able to make drastic change. The ability to be able to work in changing environments, exceptional attention to detail, influencing skills at senior leadership level and be able to take a holistic approach is essential.

In terms of experience needed for this role, you will ideally come from a Workforce/Talent Planning and Development background with excellent project management skills. The organisation will get you up and running with the industry knowledge you need to successfully deliver this role, but its important you can digest and understand complex regulations and processes.
