The opportunity

IOSH is currently looking for a HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join an award-winning team on a 12-month fixed term contract. In this pivotal, varied and interesting role, you will lead your business area on the people agenda, undertaking a true business partnering role. You’ll be responsible for supporting, advising and training managers at all levels on people related activity, to create a high performing workforce, a culture of wellbeing and engagement and achievement of our organisational objectives. Your role will ensure that our people are looked after and have an opportunity to thrive in an organisation that puts health and safety at the heart of its operations.

The role

You’ll be responsible for driving and delivering aspects of the people management agenda, whilst working collaboratively with the Director, providing proactive support as the dedicated HRBP, for the business area. You will lead on and provide creative solutions through expert HR advice on a range of ER issues and successfully delivering organisational development and change management initiatives.

Using your knowledge of HR best practice and employment law, you’ll advise and guide employees and managers on all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from attraction and recruitment to employee engagement and organisational change.

In this dynamic role, you will take responsibility for leading HR projects and initiatives to drive the success of your business area and contribute to the achievement of organisational objectives.

The person

Bringing a wealth of experience throughout your HR career to date, you’ll have a toolkit full of ideas and innovations to bring to the table. You’ll be a passionate and dedicated CIPD qualified People professional with a generalist background. You’ll possess a sound understanding of employment law and a proven track record of advising managers and employees on a variety of people-related issues.

You’ll be determined, resilient and consistently striving for improved performance. Effective communication with stakeholders at all levels will be essential to ensure positive outcomes and results.

Benefits

The salary range for this role is £33,000 to £41,250. The starting salary will be dependent on the successful candidate having the relevant skills and experience required for the post. IOSH operates a performance related pay scheme where you have the opportunity to progress your pay based on your performance in the role, including participation in the IOSH employee bonus scheme.
