I am accountable for:

  • Providing comprehensive administration support to HR team members in all areas including Reward, Recruitment, Employee Relations and Learning & Development. Actions include (but are not limited to) regularly updating organisational charts, job offers, contracts of employment, maintaining employee filing system, co-ordinating Long Service Awards and managing business card administration.
  • Assisting the HR team in all stages of the recruitment process including booking interviews, arranging candidate testing and ensuring recruitment files are up to date
  • Ownership of the new starter onboarding process and all required administration from offer stage to final actions ensuring a smooth and positive onboarding experience for all new starters. Processing all relevant leaver administration in a timely manner
  • Working with the HR team to communicate the sales bonus targets to sales teams at the beginning of each financial year and to new starters during the course of the financial year. Communication is accurate and distributed in a timely manner.
  • Producing accurate correspondence to employees relating to all employee lifecycle events i.e. contractual changes, salary increases, bonus and maternity/ paternity letters.
  • Acting as the key contact within HR with regards to Cascade HR system queries ensuring that the system is accurately maintained and updated.
  • Creating ad hoc reports and identifying where reports need to be added to the management toolkit to maintain meaningful MI.
  • Responsible for the monthly reporting to DENV via the MMS file liaising with Corporate Planning and the SAP Process Analyst to ensure consistency with local reporting and local IT information.
  • Tasks and other areas I am responsible for in my role:

    • Maintaining Personal Employee Records, ensuring the electronic library is regularly updated
    • Ensure compliance with GDPR legislation across systems, processes and communication
    • Ensuring meaningful MI is in place across the core HR deliverables and this data is maintained
    • Delivering the Company Induction to new starters, presenting a comprehensive and inclusive programme to welcome people into the team.
    • Participating in DENV programmes, where People Systems will be introduced to the UK to ensure consistency across all affiliates eg LMS, Recruitment and Onboarding, Performance and Goals.
    • Be the systems expert in the HR team for our People Management systems and advise on best practise and information utilisation.
    • Accompany Line Managers at 2nd Stage interviews, where required, to provide HR support and administration expertise.
    • Provide Notetaking support to Line Managers in formal meetings, where required eg. Grievance, Consultation Meetings etc maintaining the company professional standard.
    • Ensuring all data and checklists are up to date and compliant for Audit purposes.
    • Being proactive with other departments to ensure the smooth processing of employee requirements in relation to Company cars, Technology, IT etc.
    • General administration tasks and housekeeping
    • Ensure effective systems are maintained so that DAUK can demonstrate compliance with applicable legal requirements, company rules and other relevant requirements.
