A global Financial Services organisation based in the City of London is seeking a HR Risk and Service Manager - Vice President to support all workers, entities and locations in the EMEA Region.

It will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on HR's multi-million-pound budget (headcount and GBP) in the EMEA Region ensuring that HR hits its budget and/or takes appropriate action if it is exceeding its budget.

A HR Risk and Service Manager - Vice President to with the following responsibilities for a number of services across entities and locations in the Region:

    Subject Matter Expert (SME) in People risk, Operational HR risk, intra-group service contacting and cost allocation, department budgeting, third-party vendor management Deliver an expert advisory and consultancy service to HR around risk, intra-group contracting and cost allocation, budgeting, third-party vendor management and managing audits of HR. Strategically partnering with HR and colleagues from other departments to build relationships and to understand their needs and proactively deliver effective solutionsProactively work withEMEA HR Leadership team to continuously:
      Define its service catalogue, SLAs, KPIs and cost allocationsDetermine its key operational risks, appetite for risk, risk thresholds and KRIsDetermine its annual budget
    Work with stakeholders including business leaders, HR, Risk Management Department to continuously determine its key People risks, appetite for risk, risk thresholds and KRIsWorks with the HR Analytics team and other sources of data to produce regular key risk indicators (KRIs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the services HR providers. Then analyses that data and identifies key insights and messages for customers. Monitors trends and proactively takes appropriate action if requiredProvides accurate KRIs and KPIs to customers in a timely mannerProactively work with HR teams developing new services or changes to existing services to ensure appropriate action is taken to manage risk and update KRIs, update the service catalogue, SLAs, KPIs and cost allocations.Responds accurately and in a timely manner to customers and partners queries via phone, email, instant message, or face to face interactions. Deals with more complex queries - non-standard, or exceptions to processProactively work with Procurement to develop, maintain and continuously improve HR's framework, tools, policies and procedures for actively managing its third-party vendorsEnsure HR colleagues with responsibility for managing vendors are aware of the framework, tools, policies and procedures and monitor that are following them and delivering the desired outcomesProduce summary metrics for HR's management of third partiesSupport Heads of HR who's services and teams are undergoing an audit appropriately prepare for that audit, respond to audit queries. Support the Heads of HR respond to the audit report with a plan of actions to resolve any issues the audit identified. Support the monitoring of the action plans to ensure issues are closed on time.Share the lessons learnt from audits to HR across the region so that they can proactively adapt their processes and controls to ensure similar issues are proactively resolvedA thought leader who connects with external and internal (across Region) sources of good practice and proactively contributes to continuous improvement of the serviceApplies excellent judgement to deliver outcomes, evaluating a range of potential solutions, considering the impact for HR, its customers and partners; the costs and risksPartners with HR colleagues to drive adoption and compliance with the risk, intra-group contracts and vendor management frameworks, tools, policies and proceduresContributes to "forward scanning" of the business best practice, regulatory and legislative environment and proactively respond to it to ensure HR's services are compliant and taking advantage of the opportunities it providesEnsures that appropriate controls are implemented to ensure the business is appropriately managing its People risk and HR is managing its operational risks within the appetite it has setIs a strong and reliable team member who supports others to achieve the Department's goals and objectivesIs an active member of the Service Design Authority and supports the governance and risk management of HR systemsIs a member of EMEA HR Services Leadership Team

A HR Risk and Service Manager - Vice President with:
