Ashley Kate are looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Specialist for our manufacturing client based in Coningsby, Lincolnshire who are looking for a new permanent and full time finance lead for their business.

The clients business has grown over recent years and now they need someone to work with the company directors and lead on all of the financial matters.

The new Senior Accounts Specialist will be working alongside all top-tier level management, supporting the business in achieving good finance practices, ensuring the business is operating legally, that the governing bodies are operated as they should be, such as VAT, NI, Pensions, Companies House etc.
·Ensuring that the year-end procedures are met and that monthly accounts are produced by the accountants.
·Daily bank reconciliation
·Overseeing the businesses debtors and creditors accounts, ensuring that they are running to the required credit level.
·Taking day-to-day responsibility for the up-keep of Sage, ensuring the day-to-day entries are recorded and entered correctly for both purchases and sales.
·Key responsibilities will include overseeing end-to-end finance operations, financial planning, analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
·Working alongside the management team, to make improvements to procedures and controls, as well as adhoc projects and requests as and when they come up.
·Completing the weekly and monthly payroll alongside internal staff and the Company Accountants.
·Ensuring that the annual stock take is completed and recorded correctly.
·To work alongside the Company Accountants and provide regular information, by way of monthly management accounts to ensure that the business is operating in a profitable manner and highlighting any improvements that can be made.
·Overseeing the spend within stores and procurement, assisting in setting targets for reduction of prices, stock, stock rotation.
·Working alongside the management team to oversee year end stock take, in that all departmental managers are equipped to complete and carry out audits on departments as the stock take is taking place.
·Cover IT and phone day-to-day issues and liaise with the relevant external body to ensure they are completed.
This is a full time role, working Monday to Friday on site 8.00am to 5.00pm, paying up to £35,000.
