Ashley Kate are delighted to be working alongside a Healthcare provider who are looking to add an Recruitment/HR Assistant on a perm basis.
About the role
This is an important role to support with the administration and coordination of all recruitment and selection activities.
Your main duties will include –
Provide a dedicated support in the administration of the recruitment and selection of new staff including recruitment campaigns, assessment processes and interview schedules and invites as well as supporting with the drafting of adverts, job descriptions, and interview questions.
To ensure the effective completion of pre-employment checks via the ATS are processed in a timely manner and conditional offer letters and contracts are issued once all checks are complete.
To ensure information regarding new starters has been given to with the HR Support Assistant / Data Management so that they are added to the HR database.
To maintain the Better Impact software used to recruit Volunteers and ensure that all checks have been complete in a timely manner and to work closely with the Volunteering Development Coordinator.
To support with the management of Staff and Volunteer Recruitment inbox and all supporting recruitment documentation.
To maintain all electronic and manual staff personal files.
To support with the organisation of mandatory internal staff training events i.e. annual updates and inductions for staff and volunteers, ensuring events are seamlessly run including room bookings, invitations, refreshments, room layout and speakers.
To be successful in this role you will need to have the following skills/experience –
Experience of managing the end to end recruitment process.
Experience of supporting training and development activities.
A good understanding of employment law around the recruitment and selections of staff HR good practice.
Experience of contributing to HR systems and processes.
Excellent communication/interpersonal skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of problem solving skills as well as adaptable to changing needs/priorities.
Ability to manage conflicting priorities and work to deadlines.
Good organisational skills with a methodical and pragmatic approach.
