This HR Officer role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of an stable and proactive HR function with great progression prospects, training and mentoring on offer. A varied and interesting role focused on coordinating HR actions and queries across the Banbury area based Engineering firm

This Human Resources and Personnel focused position is for a leading Engineering and manufacturing firm who pride themselves on having an impressive and cutting edge product portfolio that has seen them outperform their competition across Europe. With an experienced and supportive management team this is an ideal opportunity for the right HR individual with at least 2 years of prior practical HR experience

Description

HR Officer duties and responsibilities;

  • Manage HR inbox including query management
  • Processing new starters and leavers
  • Assist in the proactive improvement of HR policies and processes
  • Manage inductions
  • Coordinate HR services
  • Support of training
  • Help to administer and improve the graduate intake and apprenticeship programme

Profile

Experience, skills and characteristics of the HR Officer;

  • At least 12 months practical HR experience in a similar role
  • Great communications skills
  • Flexibility
  • Great work ethic
  • Desire for professional development
  • Prior HR related studies would be a large benefit with study support on offer for CIPD
