Head of HR Operations - permanent - salary up to £55,000 (based on experience)

This role will sit within their newly restructure HR team and manage the day-to-day HR operations of the organisation, including 1 direct report

Description

Managing the end-to-end HR Operations of of the organisation (approx 55 people), including:

- Being the go-to advisor for all-things HR

- Building and embedding HR best practice (policies, compliance with employment law, etc)

- Recruitment and retention - managing end to end recruitment processes, as needed

- Managing ER cases that might arise (grievance, disciplinary)

- Payroll - preparing and processing all information for external provider

- Line-managing a Recruitment and HR Administrator

- Managing the HRIS (Iris)

- HR Reporting - preparing monthly reports for SMT

- Performance management and development

- Creating a collaborative, positive, learning culture that motivates everyone to do their best

Profile

Ideal candidates will bring:

- CIPD Level 5

- Experience in a standalone role (or very small team) within an NfP organisation (e.g. membership, charity, education)

- Demonstrable experience of building and managing HR ops functions, including all areas highlighted in the 'key responsibilities'
