Ashley Kate are partnering with a leading organisation in Sheffield in their search for a HR/Training Administrator, on a full time, permanent basis.
This role is office based, but with it being a standalone position there will be the flexibility to work from home if/when needed.

About the role:

·This position will be a heavy administrative position so will require someone with a strong background in HR and can work standalone.
·Covering the full employee life cycle, from recruitment, on boarding, leavers, and absences.
·This role will require someone with strong knowledge of Training within the Construction and Engineering sector, as this person will be sourcing, booking and communicating with employees on a regular basis, as well as monitoring and storing information.
·Ensuring payroll is checked, updated and sent through to the right parts of the business.


About you:

CIPD qualifications would be an advantage for this position
Must have a strong hands-on administration background including sourcing/booking training courses, writing letters, providing RTW checks, recruiting, booking appointments
Must have some understanding of current employment legislation
Ideally worked in construction/engineering and understand the mandatory training requirements and occupational/industrial illness/diseases associated with those industries
Ideally understands apprenticeships or has experience dealing with FE providers and has an awareness of funding
Ideally worked in a stand-alone role
Should be assertive and well organised but willing to help other areas of the business when required
