As HR Manager you will be trusted business partner on site to continuously improve culture of engagement, innovation teamwork and to help the Division achieve exceptional performance by providing premier HR service whilst maximising the potential of all people.

Description
As HR Manager you will:
- Work closely with the plant manager to ensure that local team actions and goals are aligned with the overall business strategy
- Provide direction from a HR perspective around issues raised by council members
- Supports strategic corporate initiatives in line with agreed objectives
- Work with the local management team to ensure that the right structures are in place in terms of roles and authority to drive productivity
- Own the survey planning, reviewing and communication of results
- Facilitate employee engagement focus groups to address improvement opportunities
- Manage the entire recruitment and selection process
- Develop and deliver induction training for the Division
- Define and implement a training plan in conjunction with the location management team
- Responsible for the location training & development budget and ensuring there a return on investment
- Monitor absence levels at the location and work to reduce absence where possible
- Manage all long term absence cases using effective methods and implementing reasonable adjustments to ensure the timely return of employees to work where possible
- Manage all aspects of retirement and maternity leave
- Ensure all payroll processing requirements are professionally managed
Profile
You will have:
- Proven experience in HRM, preferably within a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Degree qualified in HR, Business or Management discipline and supported by MCIPD certification (or working towards)
- Working knowledge of employment law
- High level of customer focus
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to forge good working relationships at all levels within the organisation
- Innovative
- Structured approach with strong planning and organisational skills
- Flexible to accommodate ever changing working environment and demands placed upon it in a positive manner
