Ashley Kate HR are currently partnering with a market leading business to recruit for a HR Business Partner to join the team. The Head office is based in Northamptonshire and although there is the flexibility for home working you will need to be on site for at least 2 days a week when able to.

You will support the business in the people management area and act as the facilitator for the management team, with a strong focus on Talent Acquisition, Management Development and Engagement. You will be actively involved with HR projects and all Generalist duties and be confident in monitoring performance improvement and coaching and developing senior managers.

Reporting to the People Director this is a fantastic opportunity for a true generalist to be part of an established business and really add value to the people strategy.

Key responsibilities: 

·Responsible for full-cycle recruitment, which includes sourcing, attracting, screening, interviewing and placing the highest calibre of candidates
·Use multiple strategies to source candidates including job boards, social media, networking and Linked In Recruitment.
·Create strong lasting relationships with hiring managers and the HR team.
·Provide full HR support in relation to recruitment and development
·Support management with the implementation of employee engagement initiatives
·Monitor staff performance and attendance and provide support to managers with all long-term sick/absence case
·Design and implement a smooth recruitment process to include SLA’s
·Design and implement a performance management processes
·Support the process to ensure employees are managed appropriately throughout their probation, including probation interviews.
·Consider the ‘war on talent’ and actively headhunt high calibre candidates
·Develop and implement a first class and engaging Induction programme
·Develop and a suite of development workshops to up-skill Line Managers in people management and design a program for delivery
·Coach and support managers with Personal Development Plans
·Coach and train managers
·Influence the development of HR policies and processes to ensure they meet the needs of the business
·Support the Head of HR to research, develop and implement best in class HR practices
·Implement & support the delivery of key HR initiatives & HR projects
·Work with the HR team to deliver operational and strategic support to the business in relation to recruitment and development


About you:

You will have a proven background in a similar role, ideally in manufacturing, FMCG or distribution.
You must be comfortable with travelling to sites across the UK as needed
The ability to work at pace and be solutions focused is essential
CIPD level 5 working towards is desirable
