We are in the market for a specialist HR Insights Data Manager for a large professional services firm with an office in Manchester centre.
Your new role
They are looking to recruit a senior level Mi/analytics/insights candidate. The role will be reporting into the Head of HR and will be joining the business to add value around analysing data and producing HR insights. The role will involve liaising with HR, resourcing & L & D functions and understanding their trends as well as analysing their data in order to interpret to the Head of HR and key stakeholders including board members what trends/patterns/challenges their business areas have including commercial cost implications and then recommending solutions where to focus time & what maybe working for them as a business. To assist the business in both strategic and core business decision making by providing analytical insight into employee data, trends and predictions. Using data from across the department, the role is expected to support a range of teams from learning & development activity, Payroll, D&I, employee turnover and headcount, salary, reward and recruitment analysis. The role will therefor require a candidate to be strong at analysing data and also somebody who gets HR and can present this to key members of the team with presenting experience and skills The business do have supporting functions which consist of teams that build reports, teams that produce data & systems people meaning that the support to produce information will be there for you to analyse and interpret.
What you'll need to succeed
- HR Experience required to understand the terminology & be able to understand trends and HR data
- Strong communicator at all levels
- Ability to translate complex data patterns and analysis into simple and concise reports, written and verbal
- High attention to detail focus. Accuracy and data integrity ownership.
- Curious and investigative mind-set
- Strong excel skills
- Ability to understand how data reports are gathered and built using a range of software options.
