A high profile global professional services firm is looking for a Talent Search & Intelligence Manager on a permanent basis. The team identifies, attracts and recruits niche and senior hires, as well as more junior skillsets in high demand across all business lines.


  • Oversee the successful delivery of hires via direct sourcing for a nominated service line (likely to be consulting / strategy & transactions), with particular emphasis on executing executive search mandates, especially at Director and Associate Partner-levels
  • Coordinate, drive and assess the sourcing activities of colleagues focused on more junior hiring within the team
  • Innovate and apply creativity in the development of sourcing strategies
  • Contribute to and deliver the team's response and support for key strategic objectives of the firm such as D&I
  • Further develop and utilise metrics to assess the effectiveness of the team and advance its operational practices to maximise commercial return
  • Drive the ongoing development and management of talent pools
  • Deliver value-added competitor/ market intelligence and information on topics such as hiring activity, talent development iniatives, compensation & benefits, market trends, new market entry
  • Support recruitment and business stakeholders to shape a response to immediate hiring needs, developing an appropriate go-to-market strategy
  • Interpret performance against KPIs to tailor and refine operational practices and processes across the function


  • Able to drive and deliver direct sourcing solutions at all levels, underpinned by deep knowledge of candidate sourcing tools, strategies and methodologies
  • Highly developed knowledge and experience of delivering in Talent Acquisition/Executive Search and end-to-end recruitment contexts, ideally within professional services
  • Demonstrable ability to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholder groups
  • Ability to lead, coach and motivate team members to deliver against commercial objectives
  • Commercial accumen with understanding of how to maximise return on investment
  • Proven change management experience in order to make a meaningful contribution to the ongoing development of the model and team
  • Able to blend daily operational focuses with a longer-term perspective to ensure focus on key firm-wide priorities e.g. D&I
  • Relationship building skills incorporating recognition of the need to adapt communication style and approach to build and maintain effective, sustainable relationships, internally and externally
