As a HR Business Partner, you will partner with the management team to deliver the organisational people strategy.

Description

Reporting into the HR Director, my client seeks a proven operator who can build solid relationships quickly, has experience of driving a 'performance vs continuous improvement vs wellbeing' culture, has experience of flexing from the transactional, to the operational, to the strategic.

As a HR Business Partner you will have responsibility for operational site related people activities for c.350 people, as well as acting as a specialist for Organisational Development matters.. You will work closely with the management and leadership team on day to day activities as well as implementing the people strategy and playing a pivotal role in its development at local level.

Key focuses for your first 12 months are as follows;


  • Policies and processes - development and implementation of Group policies and processes
  • Talent Management & Development - developing manager capability, implementing career pathways, and developing and implementing a new Leadership Behaviours framework
  • Engagement & Culture - including leading on the Best Companies programme

  • This role is based in Bolton, Lancashire.

    Profile

    To be considered for this HR Business Partner appointment you will have proven experience as an HR Business Partner / senior HR Generalist / senior HR Advisor, within an autonomous role, ideally within an Academic (preferably HE or FE), Not-for-profit, or Public Sector environment.

    Partnering, project management and ER experience is a must. You will have proven experience and a strong toolkit in the following;

    • Trade Union relationship management
    • Organisational Development
    • Talent & Performance Management
    • Culture & Engagement

    You will have a minimal qualification at CIPD level 7.

    You will be adept at working on operational / day to day HR activities as well as more strategically. You will have demonstrable resilience and experience of working with leadership teams to implement and drive change.

    Understanding the business operations, the talent employed and the strategic focus the business, you will be a natural business advisor to the management and leadership team. As an HR Business Partner, you will be the moral compass of the business, and look to evolve behaviours at all levels - within the HR team, and within the wider business.

    Job Offer
