Permanent HR Advisor role in Manchester paying up to £35k

Your new company
We have an exciting new permanent job opportunity for a HR Advisor to join a great organisation with a real peoples purpose behind everything they do. You will be responsible for providing business-focussed generalist HR advice, guidance and interventions across a geographical area (Manchester & 1-2 times per week to the NE) or collection of operational programmes / departments under the support and guidance of the HR Business Partner.

Duties will primarily focus on the professional areas of Recruitment, Performance & Reward, Employee Relations, Resource and Talent Planning and Organisational Design. This will also include working alongside the HR Services team to ensure that all contractual administration and payroll activities are delivered accurately and on time. This is not an exhaustive list and as such you will be expected to carry out any other duties as may be specified by their manager from time to time. This profile is non-contractual. Reed in Partnership requires the full commitment and cooperation of its employees to strictly adhere to company policies and procedures, which includes quality standards(2), data protection(3), health and safety(4), diversity(5) and safeguarding(6).



What you'll need to succeed

  • Must be working towards CIPD qualified status.
  • Background of working in a generalist HR environment with some experience of supporting and advising line managers on a range of HR issues such as employee consultations, reorganisations, disciplinaries, grievance and sickness absence proceedings.
  • Experience of creating/updating Company policies and procedures, supporting employees in all areas of Company compensation and benefits.
  • Experience of supported internal and external recruitment & selection processes (attraction, assessment centres, interviews, testing etc.).
  • Must be able to commit to travel to NE 1 - 2 times per week (public transport links close by
