Fantastic ER Specialist role based in Manchester- 9 Month FTC paying up to £60k

I am representing a leading global company who play a key role in British culture and are an influential leader in the technology world who are currently going through an exciting period of transformation. Due to a number of strategic people projects my client is recruiting an experienced ER Specialist to support the implementation of the people strategy and lead on complex consultation activities whilst maintaining the Group wide ER strategic objectives.

Your new role
Reporting to the Senior HR Programme Lead and with a dotted line in to the HR Director, this role will be responsible for partnering with the business on employee relations matters, providing specialist change management, employee relations, employment law and trade union relations advice and guidance on complex change projects. The successful candidate will build strong relationships with key stakeholders and functions such as Reward, Legal, and HR Services etc. to shape and support business impacting change programmes aswell as overseeing all ER/IR activities across the different business units. As this company are going through a huge transformation programme, the successful candidate will also be expected to lead on complex consultation activities and support the HRBPS/senior business leaders to develop their own skills in dealing with union representatives.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a high level of ER/IR experience within a large organisation that have ideally gone through a considerable amount of change. You will have a good understanding of change and have some experience of working on change projects, whilst demonstrating a resilient and flexible approach. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills and attention to detail, supporting the refinement of the case for change, drawing on data and analytical techniques where appropriate, and communicating this to business audiences. You will be a skilled communicator providing clear guidance & advise whilst also have the ability to influence key stakeholders to drive the business strategy forward.
