They have a great opportunity for an HR Assistant to join and support their team with their full employee life cycle. The role will be varied and challenging and will give someone good exposure to employee relations and the more advisory elements of HR. The role is based in Stockport.
Our client are well established, well-known and reputable within the hospitality industry. They are recruiting for an HR Assistant to join and support their team. The role will be responsible for supporting the delivery of HR strategy and services. Their offices are based in Stockport.
The key responsibilities for the HR Assistant are supporting the delivery of HR strategy and services, acting as first point of contact for employees, candidates and third parties, liaison with Learning & Development and Heath & Safety, assisting with case management of recruitment, absence management and ER including disciplinary and grievance work, liaison with payroll, updating and maintaing records, undertaking HR projects. The role is based in Stockport.
The successful candidate will have/be:
- Experience in an HR capacity
- Strong communication skills
- Confident and professional manner
- Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team
- Excellent organisational skills
- An understanding of HR best practice
- A commitment to HR and their development
- CIPD Level 3 desired but not essential
