THE ROLE:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a leading technology company as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator on a nine-month temporary basis. As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, the successful candidate will be charged with identifying both the most interesting active candidates and the right role for them. You will be supporting an innovative, inclusive and collaborative organisation aiming to make technological advances for everyone.

  • Utilising your client management skills to influence hiring strategies in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
  • Monitoring, reviewing and taking action on a high volume of candidate resumes
  • Partnering closely with recruiters to derive mutually agreeable selection criteria, as well as receiving and actioning feedback
  • Understanding functional hiring needs, position specifications and search requirements to act as a resume evaluation expert for the Engineering and Operations teams
  • Partnering with recruiters, hiring managers and team members to generate ideas, leverage resources and share information that facilitates an effective screening process
  • Using data and analytics to make informed decisions relating to hiring strategies 
  • Focusing on continuous improvement by solving problems and producing solutions
  • Offering suggestions, new ideas or alternatives to improve or modify work processes

ESSENTIALS:

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree
  • At least two years experience in human resources, staffing or a business environment
  • Experience with recruiting, sourcing or search firms 
  • Experience using a data-driven approach to influencing hiring strategies 
  • Proven ability to take initiative, adapt quickly to changing priorities, work with a high sense of urgency and build strong, productive relationships with demanding clients
  • Experience managing multiple clients and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for the recruiting industry and a sincere desire to expand your exposure to this field 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and client management skills
  • High attention to detail
