Are you an experienced People Advisor looking to start your new role immediately?
You will be joining a team of HR professionals supporting both weekly factory employees and corporate functions. You provide a proactive generalist Human Resources advisory service including employee relations, recruitment, organisational development, policy development and interpretation; whilst driving best practice and ensuring compliance with all employment legislation.
People Advisor - The role
You will be involved in coaching and mentoring the management team to ensure that they are comfortable with all aspects of people management and employee relations.
You will need to be comfortable with all aspects of disciplinaries and grievances and also other areas of employment related issues. It will be your responsibility to pro actively manages cases from long term and short term absence through to more complex issues and also encourage management accountability.
People Advisor - About you
·Strong proven HR advisor background with strong UK employment Law knowledge
·Experience of manipulating, reporting and presenting Data from HR/Payroll software and other data sources
·You must be comfortable working with varied ER casework
·Ability to work unsupervised and use initiative
·Food industry or manufacturing experience
