Our client, a Fortune 500 organisation, is looking for a creative Employee Relations Manager to create a centre of excellence for ER.  This is new role for this high-tech non-unionised business,  who are established in the UK,  and you will be part of their ambitious growth plans.

You will build the function and be both an integral part of the HR Business Partner team and indispensable to the business you support, delivering  proactive, seamless service and advice as the face of employee relations in the organisation for the UK, Europe and APAC.

You will analyse, resolve, oversee and guide on issues including attendance, performance management, disciplinary action, policy interpretation, compliance, and crisis management. You will also partner with the HR BP’s in the areas of change management, reporting, organisational initiatives and talent planning.

You will need to:

  • Be a trusted advisor and problem-solver, whose counsel is valued, with the ability to frame up issues and identify possible solutions.
  • CIPD qualified (or equivalent) with business facing human resources experience in various disciplines, with experience preferred in a population of 500+ employees within the high-tech or financial sector.
  • Have coaching, influencing and negotiation skills across all levels of business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate advanced, in-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures and employment law.
  • Have proven leadership skills and success in leading high-performance teams.
  • Evidence problem solving and critical thinking skills and the ability to run complex investigations.
  • Knowledge of HR technology systems would be good as the organisation is moving to successfactors  later in 2021.
