The HR Assistant will be responsible for providing support with all aspects of the HR agenda within the business. Reporting into the Human Resources Business Partner, the role will act as the HR administrator within the HR Team, assisting with the provision of a full operational HR & Payroll service across all functions.

Description

  • Provide generalist support to the HR Business Partner, ensuring that all administration linked to Human Resources Department is up to date on a day-to-day basis
  • Daily absence management, including recording and reporting of figures
  • Assist with lower level employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinaries and grievances
  • Assist with all areas of recruitment, including vetting, assisting with interviews and issuing of offer letters and employment contracts
  • Compiling and maintaining paper, digital and electronic employee records
  • Supporting internal and external enquiries and requests related to the HR Team
  • Entering of employee data onto the HR system
  • Supporting HR-related training sessions and workshops
  • Overseeing HR events and meetings
  • Continuously learn the latest HR best practices to improve workplace efficiency

Profile

  • 2+ years' experience operating within a HR role
  • CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualification is desirable
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of HR functions and best practices

  • Knowledge of employment law and human resources responsibilities
